Day 1 - Arrive Muscat
Upon arrival in Muscat, transfer to the hotel. Our airport representative will greet the guest with a personalized name sign and assist them to their transfer vehicle.
Day 2 - Muscat City Tour
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: The first stop on the Muscat City Tour is the Grand Mosque, a breathtakingly beautiful architectural master piece. Muttrah Souk: From the Mosque, proceed to the historic, old part of Muscat city to explore Muttrah Souk, a vibrant, traditional Omani marketplace. The National Museum: The next stop is the National Museum, where you will discover and learn about the fascinating 7,000-year history of Oman. AL Alam Palace & Forts: From here, proceed to see the Al Alam Palace, flanked by the historic Mirani and Jalali Forts, which were built by the Portuguese in the 16th century during their rule of Oman's coastal cities. (Note: Video filming is strictly prohibited here).Royal Opera House Muscat: Conclude the tour with a photo stop at the first Opera House built in the Middle East region—a perfect architectural fusion of traditional Omani style and classic Opera elegance. Dress Code: Men & Women: Long sleeves down to the wrists, and long trousers or long skirts extending fully down to the ankles. Ladies Only: A completely covered neck and a headscarf covering all hair.
Day 3 - Nizwa
Amouage & Birkat Al Mouz: On the way to Nizwa, stop at the Amouage perfumery, then proceed to a scenic viewpoint overlooking Birkat Al Mouz. Admire the lush palm tree plantations alongside the ancient village, which features 500-year-old abandoned mud houses. Here, you can observe a UNESCO World Heritage site: a 4,000-year-old Falaj irrigation system that remains fully functional today. Nizwa Cattle Market (Fridays Only): Proceed to Nizwa to visit its unique Friday livestock market. Local men and women from surrounding regions bring their animals—predominantly sheep, goats, cattle, and occasionally camels—to the market, where they are officially registered and traded. Nizwa Fort & Souq: Visit the historic Nizwa Fort, strategically constructed atop a hill to overlook the ancient city, its colorful domes, and the bustling marketplace below. Spend time exploring this traditional city, touring the fort's famous round tower and museum. Afterward, stroll through the vibrant Nizwa Souq, where you can sample Oman’s national sweet (freshly cooked Halwa), taste various types of local Omani dates, and purchase aromatic eastern spices and essential oils. Day 4 - Sea Adventure & Relax
Today you are going to enjoy sea adventures, watching dolphins and discovering the underwater world of Oman. By lunchtime, you will be back at the hotel to enjoy your leisure time and take a breath after your adventure week in magnificent Oman. (B/L)
Day 5 - Depart Muscat
After unforgettable moments spent in Oman, being immersed in wonderful stories from exceptional people coming from such a lovely place, it is time to say, “See you” and fly back home carrying all the memories and stories to tell. Oman never says “Goodbye,” leaving that special place in your heart which will remind you to come back and explore more of it. This enchanting place, remarkable and enticing as always—though every beginning has an end—will never be a farewell, but simply a "see you again." (B)
